Reward tiers & progress bar
Up to 5 tiers, 5 reward types, and a fully customizable live progress bar.
How tiers work
Each tier pairs a spending threshold with a reward. As the cart grows, the progress bar fills toward the next threshold; when a threshold is crossed, the reward applies automatically via Shopify Functions — no discount codes.
- Up to 5 tiers per store
- Thresholds must be unique and strictly increasing (e.g. $50 → $75 → $100)
- Each tier can be enabled or disabled independently
The 5 reward types
Percentage off
A percentage discount on the order subtotal (e.g. 10% off at $50).
Fixed amount off
A fixed discount in your store currency (e.g. $15 off at $100).
Free shipping
Discounts the delivery price to zero at checkout. Works with your existing shipping rates — no shipping-zone changes required.
Free gift
Adds a product to the cart free of charge when the threshold is reached. The gift product must be:
- Active or Unlisted (not Draft or Archived)
- In stock (or set to continue selling when out of stock)
- Not a subscription-only product
If the customer removes the gift, the cart shows a prompt to re-add it. Gift value never counts toward thresholds or your cart minimum.
Store credit
Grants Shopify store credit to the customer's account after the order completes — a built-in reason to come back and shop again.
- The customer must be logged in to a customer account at checkout (guest orders don't receive credit)
- Credit is granted once per qualifying order
- Multiple qualifying tiers stack cumulatively
- Optional expiry from 1 to 3,650 days — or no expiry at all
Customize the progress bar
Under Progress Bar settings you can adjust:
- Colors — bar fill, background, and text, to match your theme
- Messages — the text shown before, during, and after a tier is reached
- Placement — cart page and cart drawer, with an optional cart popup

Tier changes go live on your storefront as soon as you save — there's no separate publish step.
